Get Rid Of Liver Flukes Forever!

"Liver flukes" is a common language term given to a family of deadly parasites which cause life threatening diseases to many mammals. The most common parasite amongst them all is called the Fasciola hepatica which is responsible for the death of many farm animals year after year by stomach infections. It also affects those human beings who eat raw uncooked fruits and vegetables on a regular basis. However, instances of human beings being affected are very low as compared to animals who are the main victims of this parasite.
This parasite stays in the pastures in enclosed form (you can imagine them as covered in a sort of a cuticle covering), which is its penultimate stage of development. When the animals eat the pasture they reach their stomachs where because of the low acid content, the enclosure breaks off. At this point, they travel to the animal's intestines and stay there. However, this is not when the sickness starts. These parasites, after staying for some time in the intestines, move to the liver. This is when the animal starts getting sick, the most common symptom being vomiting and stomach infections. It also causes anaemia and severe weakness and weight loss in the infected animal. If left untreated, it can lead to the death of the animal.
The parasite, if allowed to stay for long, moves to the bile duct of the animal. At this stage it is fully mature and capable of reproducing. One parasite can produce up to 25000 eggs per day. Since there is never ever a single parasite in the animal body, you can imagine the number of eggs produced per day.
An infected animal can be diagnosed by checking for yellow-brown eggs in the faeces. There is another parasite called Fascioloides magna which also produces the same symptoms, however, its eggs are never or rarely passed out in animal faeces. Hence, it is easy to distinguish which parasite is causing the sickness.
The best way to prevent your farm animals from dying from these deadly parasites is to prevent them from entering your pastures and your farms. Early disinfection of the farm can go a long way in keeping your animals disease free for long periods of time. There are many products available to help you keep your farm clean and parasite free.
However, the idea of keeping the pastures free of parasites can only work if there are custom pastures present for the farm animals to graze on. This is not usually the case; hence, it is important to keep effective medicines and first aid to help your animal at the earliest. Many products, such as injections and solutions are available in the market to help clear the infections caused by liver flukes.
The easiest way to find these products is to go online and read up on various forums about their performance. The large stock of information can surely help you find the best product for your farm animals. Always keep them handy as you never know when these parasites launch their attack. Of course, there is no need to give this advice to an able farm hand who knows this threat and its seriousness.
